I have a 2011 Cadillac SRX 2wd the previous owner bought it new and ran up to 119,700 miles they showed records of maintenance they also stated that they commuted to work about 1 hour away for the previous year my question is would i be able to change the transmission oil on it without having it to slip because i did not find a record of having that changed just normal other fluids wat do u think would it be ok to change it without having to deal with slippage of the tranny at 119700 miles?
Well, if there's no record of it being changed I would leave it alone because it may slip if you change it now just because of the age. It is 12 years old
