Hi Scotty! I'm a college student and have recently been saving up to purchase a Toyota Avalon, as I like the features, price tag, and reliability. I know enough not to buy from car dealerships but, also since it's a discontinued model, I have been having a hard time finding one. There's this one on Facebook marketplace, and I keep seeing some dealerships have it. I'm tempted to buy my car from the dealership since it has the model and year I want but, I don't know what to look for if the car has problems or if I can get scammed. Any advice would help, thank you!
I have listed the cars from the dealership and Facebook Marketplace.

That's why you have a good mechanic give any used car a thorough examination before purchase. If the seller won't let you do this, run away.
A lot of Avalons, particularly 2021-2022 models, are starting to show up as lease returns. Look at Toyota dealers in your area and see if they have any Avalons that are lease returns (it will say "Personal Lease Vehicle" on a Carfax report). In addition, a lot of those lease returns will be certified pre-owned (CPO) cars with anywhere between 15K and 35K miles. I would give that a try if I were you.
I like them too but they are basically a slightly longer Camry. They are much rarer and cost more. Its better to buy a Camry. This will help also in the future for parts.
