Anyone have any experience with intelligent manual transmissions (iMT)? Good? Bad?
I’m thinking of buying a new Toyota with a iMT. I know they’re made by Asin and that Toyota has a 51% stake in Asin along with that their transmissions have the best reputation.
Do you use the iMT feature or just leave it off?
How is the reliability of a iMT compared to a standard manual transmission?
Anyone have any repair experience with iMTs? Does the iMT features complicate repairs?
How reliable do you find them?

They are much more expensive to repair when they finally wear out me I'd stick to a regular one myself
