Yo Scotty. I came across a FB Marketplace post featuring a 2019 Toyota Camry XSE with 42K miles for $12.4K. The private seller has posted their contact email address stating that the car is clean, no accidents, and “I just need to sell it ASAP.” Do you think that this asking price is even legitimate or am I just wasting my time with some unrealistic advertisement? Seems too good to be true. Thank you for your time.

That one’s gonna need some due diligence. I doubt it is legit.
The ad is full of red flag because of:
- the price is too low.
- Seller wants to sell asap.
- last but not least, the FB Market place.
If the car even exists it was probably swimming with the fishes until recently. (Not to mention that if the owner really just needed to get rid of it quickly he could just call Carvana and get a lot more money.)
