Hello, I know this is for cars but maybe you guys can help, My moped has 36,000 miles on it, It struggles to go when it is on the ground, If i have the wheel in the air it spins fine, It is leaking some type of oil, Im am also not aware what kind of oil it take for its transmission, It needs a new battery but the lights kinda work but i just dont understand why it doesnt want to go, I have had it sitting for 6 months because i dont want to ruin it.

You have carburetor in your scooter and being a two stroke engine, you add oil to the gasoline. You may need to clean the carburetor first.
