Hi Scotty, I have a 2015 Kia Soul ! and there is a vinegar smell coming from the AC vents. I've tried the lysol trick and didn't help. The dealership tried telling me that it is the cabin air filter but I had just replaced it and they want to charge me $200 to clean the evaporator. I'm pretty mechanically inclined so what can I do to get the smell out?

Get some of that good smelling stuff from the home depot that they use to clean ac coils with and spray it into the under hood vent for the ac located near the windshield.
