i have a 2019 Ram 1500 with the ecodiesel engine.  Its going in for the HPFP recall next week.  It still has an open recall for tone wheel.  No fix and probably never getting fixed. It has 70000 Km and still has a year of warranty left.  There have been some minor electrical issues but not too much.  I love the fuel economy of this truck with capability of towing when I need to.  My concern is there have been so many issues reported with these trucks I need confidence my truck is going to strand my spouse and child on the road in northern Alberta. It does have the GDE Hot tune. which fixed some stock quirks.

I have watched a lot of your videos but its hard to find the right one for a suggestion.

My question is What truck should I buy if I were to buy right now.  I am currently looking at a 2024 Toyota Tundra, 2023-2024 Sierra, or a Ford F150.  I would prefer a V8 but being as its a toyota and if they still have the same quality I can live with turbo.

Or. Because I have solar panels should I wait until the 2025 ramcharger comes out?

Or just keep this until the warranty runs out and do full delete.

Thanks

The new Tundra is better than the EcoDiesel Ram you have right now reliability-wise. Plus, the twin-turbo V6 in the Tundra has more of a V8 sound to it than the V6 EcoBoost in the F-150 and has less problems to boot. And the Tundra has coil springs in the rear suspension just like your Ram, giving it a smoother ride than a Ford or GM truck with leaf springs.
