Scotty how come ICE vehicles never used kerosene as a fuel source?

Expensive.
But it will work just fine in a diesel engine.
I didn't know that about kerosene in diesels. Apparently it's added to diesel blends in the winter time to help keep the fuel from gelling up.

Jet fuels are a type of kerosene, if you include that in ICE.
