What year? Engine? Transmission?

At the very start when they had the 2.0 engine they were decent at best and too old now to be a good car, the newer I'd say 2012 2013+ ones are horrible typical Hyundai group making junky cars.

I would not recommend anyone to buy a Kia Soul. The best alternative is the Scion XB.

Realize one thing, Kia's have limited lifespans and they fall apart before their time. If you want get one with low miles and it can go for a bit but make sure you get it cheap as they have no resale value. If you want longevity go with a Honda or Toyota.

Hyundai/Kia have a few class actions. Particularly on their motors. They can’t seem to build them correctly.
