Keeping a 2020 Kia Soul EX alive

I leased a 2020 Kia Soul EX before the quarantimes (pandemic). My lease will be up soon, and given the market, my best bet is going to be buying out the lease because at least that price is locked in and a lot better than playing the market as it stands (plus, life circumstances led to it being my only car and I am a little over the lease mileage).

I've been fortunate enough: the car and engine have seemingly dodged the big engine fire recalls/issues (it's 2.0L 4cyl). The only unfortunate thing is that it's been sitting in the shop getting repairs from an accident.

What is my best bet for putting my best foot forward and keeping this thing alive? I drive about 100 highway miles now on my work commute, and I know Scotty has said highway miles are different from stop-and-go so I'm a little at-ease because I originally thought highway miles were harder on a car. I haven't had any oil-burning issues. The car has been decent. I intend to do as much upkeep myself as possible, especially keeping up on oil changes. Any tips, suggestions, and thinks to be weary of, considering KIA's reputation?

Well basically change your engine oil and filter every 5,000 miles with full synthetic fluid and I would change the transmission fluid every 30,000 mi religiously
