Yesterday I left early to go to dentist and noticed the farm truck '96 Chev had a low tire on the right front. So this morning I went out in the cool to change the tire. I found the lug nuts would not budge! This tire hasn't been changed in 2 years. No sign of rust. I tapped the lug wrench with a 2-pund hammer, but no movement. All are super tight. What is the best solution other than calling AAA?
Are you trying to remove them by hand ? May need to get a really good impact gun that has really good reverse torque to break them loose. I have a dewalt that does 1k lb/ft reverse torque for really hard/stubborn fasteners.
Squirt some PB Blaster on them and let it soak in over night. Next morning, get a propane torch and heat them up and use a long beaker bar with the correct 6 point socket to break them loose.
