Hi all!
I have a Lexus es 300 with 182k miles on it, and it’s been a pretty solid car, no major issues. But the trans gave out, and it’ll cost $3800 to replace. Think it’s worth it? I know these engines last a while. And with a warrantied autozone transmission, I think I could get at least a few more years out of the car.
What do you think? Think it’s worth the money? It would be cheaper than buying a newer car or some other used car, and at least I know this car’s issues.
Thank you!

Well if it's an excellent shape, otherwise why not. But if it's a northern car where everything's rusted I wouldn't.
Thank you so much @scottkilmer!
