Scotty,
I have my eye on a 2017 Lexus ES 350 with 81,000 miles. The dealer is asking $19k. Should I be concerned that the car was driven over 20,000 miles per year instead of the average 13,500?

The US average is 15,000 and that is most likely highway miles. Have a mechanic check it out and haggle on the price.

Seems a bit high for all that mileage; maybe negotiate to 16k. The 2017 had the last good 6- speed automatic transmission which they screwed up in 2018 wih the 8 speed automatic transmission. Higher mileage on a new vehicle is a sign of highway mileage, which is extremely easy on a vehicle. And after all, it's a lexus. It will never leave you stranded. I HIGHLY recommend the car!
