Hi so I know how scotty feels about transmission fluid flushing but thought I'd ask anyway. I have a rough shifting issue between various gears seems this is somewhat common, and people call them "flares". I was debating trying a fluid change or flush and perhaps adding Lucas transmission fix. I was curious about any suggestions. No codes currently I did have a P0741 code for torque converter briefly but it just disappeared on its own. Has not returned help appreciated thanks. Oh also it has 163,000 miles I don't not know about past fluid change history recently got it.

Well, you have a torque converter code even though it went away. It's usually the torque converter. That does that. But sometimes adding an additive can fix torque converter shutter.
