Hey Scotty,
I’m looking to get a new GX, however I don’t know if I should go with the older 470, or the newer 460. The older one has a legendary 4.7L iron block, while the newer one has an aluminum block as well as a chain. If you have an opinion on what generation you think is better, please let me know! I want something strong and reliable for a long time

If it were me, I would go with the 460. As long as you maintain it well it can last a LONG time.
