Limp mode and O2 sensors

Topic starter

I’ve got a 2007 chevy suburban, vehicle has multiple check engine lights related to O2 sensors in both bank 1 and 2 behind the catalytic converter, replaced each one multiple times including the front two, codes have not left and the vehicle is still not going past 30 mph. I have changed the spark plugs and wires and codes for too lean have gone away, the transmission was replaced for a torque converter issue about a month before the vehicle went into limp mode, I am not sure how to go about this the dealership will not run any diagnostic that is helpful to the situation. I will include the codes it currently has as well as the VIN.

Ditch the dealer and find a good independent mechanic who will perform meaningful diagnostics.

That's because the dealership wants to sell you a new car, not fix your old one. That SUV is 16 years old. Dealerships have agendas.

Regarding all of those downstream (rear) HOS heater circuit codes start by checking the O2-B SNSR Fuse in the underhood fuse box. If it's good then test the wiring at the sensor connectors.

will try that out thank you!

p0171, p0174.

those say it's running lean. Lean means not enough fuel, or too much air.

Stop changing parts, and check your fuel pressure and look for vacuum leaks.

sorry it was a copy paste from my notes, those codes are already gone.
