Has someone created a list? If so, can anyone share? I hear some things here and there but I cannot recall all of the different engines. I'm trying to get a beater car / daily driver and am seeing 3.0L V6 Honda Accords, 1.4/1.6L Corollas, etc. Thanks in advance!
V6 Accords without VCM are usually fine. With VCM could be problematic. I personally like the Honda K Engine, 4 cyl.
Corolla engines seem to have been fine. It was the Camry that had some piston ring problems.
If you find the list, please share.

I found an old post from a now banned mod I think.

I may be wrong, but to my knowledge, none of our moderators (past or present) have ever been banned. You may be referring to a member (who may have broken a rule/s and consequently got banned).
@itwt I can confirm that no mod has ever been banned on carkiller.com
I think he was referring to banned member Kerem and a few pages he created on which cars to buy (including list of issues from carcomplaints).
.
Kerem was never a mod.
Yes Kerem never owned or drove a car, but he loved scouring the internet for information he didn't understand.

Sorry for the misunderstanding. I thought he was a mod. But yeah, this is the guy I was referencing. And if that is the case where he never actually owned a car and has no real concept of it, then maybe this list is not entirely the best nor foolproof. But yeah, again sorry for saying a mod was banned.
