Long term reliability of Mazda3 assembled in Mexico

Hello,

I'm considering the 2023 Mazda3 for my next car. I noticed that some of them assembled in Mexico, while others assembled in Japan. Is there a significant reliability hit for the ones assembled in Mexico, or would they be about the same?

Thanks

There are different opinions about this but for Toyota someone asked Scotty about the Tacoma being assembled in Mexico and he said it's fine. Some people argue quality control won't be as good in Mexico, but I think with the Toyota example what matters is its Toyota quality so I wouldn't worry about it. I think you'll be fine with either one.
