Hey Scotty I’m looking to buy a new car. Preferably a Hybrid, Plug in Hybrid, or electric car. Were looking at a 2021 Hyundai Elantra Hybrid for $20,995, a 2020 Hyundai Ionic Hybrid for $21,995, a 2019 Honda Insight for $20,295, a 2020 Toyota Corolla Hybrid for $22,895, or a 2018 Nissan Leaf for $21,395. My mother, who is the person my father and I are looking at these cars for, likes the Hyundai’s the best just in terms of looks etc, however my dad and I are Toyota fanboys and we’re not the biggest fans of Hyundai quality because of their past. Just wanted to get your input on which car would be the best for money value and quality/reliability. Thanks Scotty!
Stay away from Hyundai/Kia and Nissan. Their quality went into the toilet years ago. (Though since a Leaf is a toy lacking a real engine it might be better than Nissan's other offerings.)
I'd go with the Insight. Definitely avoid the Hyundai/Kia offerings.
A 2020 Toyota Corolla Hybrid is probably the best bet, you get a lot more quality for a little more money.
I’d go for the Corolla Hybrid or Honda Insight as those are the most reliable out of those options you listed. Also try looking at the Toyota Camry Hybrid if she wants more space than the Corolla, or the Prius. Yea a Camry hybrid might cost more but she will likely enjoy it a lot more than a Corolla or Prius.
Get a Corolla hybrid because they don’t look weird as the others hybrids. They problem you might have is the size it’s pretty small there’s not that much room in it.
I know everyone said toyota corolla hybrid, but I was gonna say try pirus the new model look slick and aggressive.
