Losing spark

I'm looking at a 1985 Pontiac Fiero 2M4 SE. 4 cylinder with an automatic transmission. Its really cheap on Facebook marketplace, but it's a project car and the description says that the only problem is that it loses spark when it gets warm. Any idea why this is happening? The car looks like a great buy aside from that, but in case you want to check it out, here's the listing.

The main problem with a project car that's this old is you will spend LOTS of money and time on a car that no one really wants to buy because they weren't very good new the Fieros are somewhat of a joke in the automotive world. You're much better off buying something like this: https://www.ebay.com/itm/294081997715   Plus ebay is a much better place to buy cars than Facebook stay away from those ads unless your a pro. Ebay offers guarantees on everything sold so if you buy a car there and it's not as advertised on the site Ebay will force the sell to return your money so you're not gambling with a facebook ad.

The best part about 2 door hondas like that are they run forever and they're super easy to work on as a fun project car. I have one like this and it's a blast to drive and I've had it for years without doing any serious maintenance. GL buying your project car 👍

Electronic ignition components may be crapping out when the engine warms up.

The early ones were just plain terrible. It's probably some or all of the ignition components overheating considering where the engine is located; not a lot of air flow back there.
