I am trying to clean the MAF air flow sensor on my 2012 Scion Tc. It is the first time I am attempting to clean it. I am having the hardest time unclipping the harness from the sensor to remove it. Does anyone have any ideas? Would WD-40 help? I thought of using a flathead screwdriver, but I am afraid of braking it! Please help!

Usually there is a latch on top of the connector where you need to lift it to be able to pull the connector out.
If you still can't take it out disconnect the battery, then take off the sensor while it is connected to the harness, clean it then let it dry before you reverse what you did, but I still recommend you to take the connector off.
