Hey Scotty I recently bought a 2010 Ford Taurus se, it has 39,500 miles on it I did an oil change at 36,000 but noticed there wasn’t an oil change done in 3 years, what kind of maintenance would you recommend?

Follow the maintenance from your car's manual. Change the ATF now and then every 40k-60k miles.

What a stupid design. Meant for throw away cars. Built in obsolescents. Marketing/sales driving the decisions.

With such low mileage change the oil every 5000 miles or 12 months. Do whatever comes first.
