Hey Scotty, what do you think about throttle body spacers? Do they do much of anything? Is it worth spending $130 on one?

On a stock efi engine  the gains will be really minor if any at all. Spacers are meant to work in concert with upgraded manifold and throttle body. You also need a performance exhaust to get rid of extra air going into engine. So you need full exhaust including headers, manifold, throttle body, intake and fully tuned possibly new fuel pump and injectors if stock fuel system isn't effective. Even then with all that you might only see 1 to 2 hp gains maybe 3 hp if your lucky. If you engine is carbureted then you will see gains even stock. But what you will get out of it compared to cost just isn't worth it.

Okay. Thanks for the feedback!
