I have an issue on my Audi A3 Sportback (2014) 8V 1.6 TDI, 81kw, 110hp, manual 6 speed gearbox, 87.613 miles on a clock.
When i start a car first time in the morning my gearbox is blocked and you cant move it into any gear.
I turn off the car and shift into first gear than turn it on again and as soon as car moves, the gearbox becomes normal, almost as a new one. There is no noise at all (grinding, clutch plate slipping and stuff like that) car behave completely normally.
During the day i dont have that kind of issues just on a first morning start.
2 months ago i have changed clutch cylinder under the pedal due to it leaking the oil. This new issue happened overnight basically whiteout any prior issues or strange sounds
Well good luck on that endless money pit Audi. Those things are so complex you would need a mechanic who understands Volkswagen Audi electronics and a dealer level scan tool to analyze that insanely complex system. Or you could just drive it to where you're driving it cuz odds are any of those Audi guys I'm going to charge you a fortune just to analyze it
