Mazda 2.5t reliable with the 6speed auto

Looking to upgrade to a turbocharged car from my 17 civic 2.0 6mt 

to something more faster and comfortable 

what do you think about the 2.5T 6speed auto power train in the new Mazda hatchback

Are you referring to the Mazda 3?  Regardless, both the Skyactive-G 2.5L naturally aspirated I4 engine and 2.5L turbocharged I4 (the one you are asking about) mated to the 6-speed Skyactiv-Drive automatic transmission have been solid thus far.  The turbocharged engine has no cylinder deactivation while the naturally aspirated engine does (sometimes it’s an option on certain model styles/trims).  In fact, in the past I had recommended it over certain (newer) Honda powertrains.
