Mazda 3 steering wheel tilt

I have a 2008 Mazda 3 i 155k Manual, My steering wheel will shift to the right and after a bit of driving will shift back into its proper place. It always falls back into the same position slightly shifted to the right at the same angle. The car stays aligned and predictable. It dose effect the acceleration of the car.  I was told my strut bearings were the cause of the problem so I got my struts replaced but I am still experiencing the problem.

I don't think struts come with bearings

Any body got any answers? Its tearing my shoulder apart.

I don't understand what you mean with the shifting. My steering wheel rotates. I didn't know they could shift.
Maybe you can make a video or something.

In some cars the steering wheel + steering column can be shifted some degrees upwards/downwards to match a chosen driving position of the driver. This is what I would call 'shifting'.

When the steering wheel rotates a bit to one or another side, I would call it 'rotating'.

When the wheel shifts to the right, I could imagine the mounting point of the steering column below the dash is loose(??).

What is going on in your situation?

up and down is called tilt steering. Sometimes it even telescopes in and out.
