Hey I replaced my gearbox and clutch in my 2004 mazda b2500 4wd and it will not go into gear while running
it shifts through gears perfectly turned off as expected and we are able to get it into gear sometimes if we pump up the clutch first although it engages right at the floor
I have tried adjusting the clutch pedal but that did not help
do I need to replace my clutch master and slave cylinders ?
Definitely replace those cylinders and bleed the air out and pray that's the only problem. Because if it isn't then either the clutch was installed backwards. I've seen that happen when the clutch disc is backwards or you got a faulty used gearbox. I assume you got a used one
