I am contemplating buying a Mazda CX-60 over a Honda Pilot. However, The Car Care Nut Review on YouTube mentions that the engine design having the timing chain at the back would require the engine to come out for any engine-related work. I have a few questions regarding this purchase:
1. Can anyone confirm the possible large repair bills that would occur in the future, as I am looking to buy the 2025 version of this car? - This should be the same as the present CX-90 (for the North American Peeps).
2. Am I better off with the Honda Pilot instead?
3. How often would one need to service/replace the timing chain assuming correct service specs are followed?
I personally would go for the pilot. The Mazdas are fascinating designs but when their engines break they do cost a fortune to repair and like all things they do break down and generally the Mazda engines break down a lot earlier than the Hondas
@scottykilmer thank you
