I have a mazda miata, 170,000 miles, automatic, check engine light is on and its reading p0012, tryed replaceing vvt solenoid and at a loss as to what to try next
Clarification: what is the model year?

This problem can be caused by dirty oil. Change your oil and filter to see if the code goes away.
