Scotty what's your opinion on a 1998 Mercury Grand Marquis with 98k miles for $1500 in good condition?

Great cars if you want a cheap to own daily driver. They do sip a lot of gas, but the engine and transmission are extremely durable. If a trusted mechanic says it's in good mechanical shape and rust-free, go ahead and buy it - $1500 is a good price.

Seems good. Just make sure to have a mechanic check it out. If it is in good shape why not.
cool, i wanted the camry but there hard to find in my area under $3000 and they have a timing belt vs the Mercury Grand Marquis witch has a timing chain.
