Hello everyone, I have a 2000 Mercury Grand Marquis with the 4.6 2V Modular V8, a Ford 4R70W automatic transmission and it currently has 110k miles. For a while, I've noticed a slight rattle noise when I turn it off. It sometimes does it when I start it up. Also, it does a popping sound at cold starts. I think those sounds come from the right side of the engine. The oil level is fine, I change it every 4-5k miles. It's worth mentioning it needs a new intake manifold, but because it is leaking coolant. I'll attach a link to an audio I recorded from the hood of the car.
