I am thinking at buying a 2013 mini cooper countryman S front wheel drive it’s a one owner car with only 30,000 miles on it for $11,500 I had it checked out by a friend that is a mechanic and just wanted a second opinion and I would like your feedback

What did your mechanic say? I wouldn't buy one personally.

It probably hasn't had any issues because it has only collected 30,000 miles and the previous owner seemed to have taken good care of it. But I wouldn't buy it personally. Mini doesn't have a good reputation for reliability. If you plan to keep it a long time, I don't recommend. And if you don't want to keep it a long time, the resale value of such car isn't high. To be honest, $11,500 for that car is outrageous in my opinion. I don't care about the brand, all cars are just metal on wheels, or plastic on wheels if we talk about German and some American cars...

Functionality wise, for such a small box on the road that's under powered, I wouldn't pay more than $6000 tax included.
