I recently bought a Mitsubishi Eclipse GT Automatic with 67,000 miles on it from private person. I noticed no heat but I had AC, I Found the hoses were bypassing the heater core. I reattached them, I now have heat and no AC. I looked at all the receipt paperwork from previous owner that showed in 2021 she brought it to Mitsubishi Dealership because the AC was blowing hot air. They charged her 900 dollars to replace compressor and put in freon. I had AC before I reattached the hoses..I know now that it must be the temperature actuator motor that needs replacement. I cannot believe Mitsubishi would do such a thing. Should I contact Mitsubishi?

Too late now. Get a proper repair from a specialty automotive AC specialist.
