Hello Scotty, Im just about to replace my rear shocks on my Honda Pilot 2010 125K miles on it and I was just wondering if those Monroe aftermarket shocks are any good.Thank you
Skip Monroe. Price maybe lower but there is a reason. Monroe would most likely not make your car any better riding then your current worn out shocks.
Just get KYB, … or Bilstein.

@figmund-sreud
Thanks , I think I’ll go with the Japanese brand KYB

Bologna....
I’ve never had an issue with Monro Quick Struts, the company warranties them for life. I change mine every 60k and I’m on my 4th set, never paid again after the first set. Suspension is contingent upon everything working like it should. They’re struts for God’s sake not gold bars.
@oneimich
Well, … I rather have shocks that I don’t have to use a warranty service at all! KYBs most often last 150k or more - often the long life of the car. Bilsteins last even longer, …
… and Monroes - out of the box - perennially don’t even offer a ride control KYB offer at their half-life.

Agreeing with mod Figmund here.
My experience is the Monroe's negatively changed the driving dynamics of my car.
They work, but are too soft and sloppy on corning and too hard over lumps and potholes.
Go with the OEM from Honda, or the other brands mentioned.
Your Pilot has too much life left to settle for Monroe's.
@carlos
Thank you
I've personally never had any issues with Monroe, but I hear a lot of customer complaints about them. In many cases they ride worse than the worn OEM ones. Just get KYBs, and don't think about it anymore.
