My Camry stopped running!

So I driving home, out the blue, my Camry starts making a whining noise. I pull over. I think it’s the serpentine belt. I call my dad. He tells me to bring it by. I just left his place. I don’t see any issues. No smoke or anything.  I creep back slowly at about 25 mph. I get there. We pop the the hood. There’s oil coming from the coil pack. It’s exploded out. It’s done for. We check oil. It’s still at level. The spark will not screw back in. That’s the issue now. The Toyota is a 2001 v6 3.0 Camry with about 346k miles. Always on top of oil changes there’s no signs or issues before this.
Im considering junking the car, I don’t have money to replace the engine. My dad was saying get the spark plug thing retreaded to see what caused the problem but I don’t wanna waste that money either and it not solve the problem. Any solution??

I would do what your dad says. It doesn't cost that much.

A running car is still worth quite a bit of money. Junking gets you pretty much zilch.
