Scotty,
I have a 2001 Ford Explorer XLT with just under 65,000 miles on it. What is your thought on this specific car, and your overall opinion on the reliability? Would you recommend keeping it? Thank you!

I owned a pushrod 5.0 mustang for 7 years.
The pushrod 5.0 is a solid and reliable motor. I've seen them with 250,000 miles on the clock.
You should be able to drive it until the wheels fall off.
