I have a 2011 subaru sti hatch. It has 90k miles on it and recently it had the headgaskets, timing belt, and water pump, replaced on it. When I monitor the afr on it, I notice it leans out at 3k rpm ONLY in first gear. I also feel a slight jolt and loss in acceleration/ power. At 3050 rpm it goes back to normal. What could the problem be?
Thanks,
~William

Well as you accelerate harshly you will often get somewhat of a leanness engines go with higher RPMs best when they're running somewhat lean. Now since yours goes away at a little bit higher RPM it could easily be something like a weak fuel injector have a pro balance test them all see if one is weak
