I have a 2005 Limited Edition Chrysler PT Cruiser Naturally Aspirated with about 81,000 miles and I’m the original owner. I noticed the other day when accelerating from a dead stop only I will here a single click. Is it something to worry about? I will add a video with the clicking sound for reference. Does it sound like its coming from the fuses??
No but I’ve noticed when I turn the wheels back and forth not in motion I will sometimes get a click. I had the motor mounts replaced awhile back so I know those are good.
Check your transmission mounts too.
Jack the car up and take a look at the coil springs looking for a broken coil at either the top or bottom. Also check the mounts at the top of the struts.
