Hello, My car is Subaru Impreza 1.5R 2009 manual.
Yesterday while driving I heard that the clutch pedal has started to squeak. My theory is that clutch pedal's spring is squeaking, as seen in this YouTube video:
I am thinking of spraying WD-40 onto the spring. Do you guys think it's safe, and my issue is the same as YouTube's video 🤔

WD40 is not a lubricant and won't last long. Use oil or grease.

Well go ahead and try. It could be the spring. You could also be the bushing on the pedal at the top with a fulcrum is spray that too
