Hello Scotty, My Honda Accord (1999) with mileage 160K is showing couple of issues recently. First, it will turns off its engine when idle at traffic light after driving around for a while. Engine turns on again when i unplug and twist the key again. Second, when accelerating, some time it don't go up above 40mph for a while and then suddenly it jumps and start speeding up. Can you please let me what checks i can do and what could be the reason for these behavior? Appreciate your time and help.

That engine was known for having bad ignition switch check that first it will do all that
