My son just bought a 2005 Saturn Vue, I've heard they have a Honda engine and Transmission. Is that true? And are they reliable? It has 205,000 miles on it and is clean. Any insight?

If it is a V6 model, it is true. If it is a 4-cylinder model, it ran a different setup that Honda was not involved with at all.
As for reliability, it seems to be hit or miss. At that mileage, hopefully the price was CHEAP and he had a mechanic check it out.

If it's the V6 it's got the Honda J35S1 in it, basically honda powertrain.
