I have an 03 Accord with 90k. I recently had trouble starting my car because something kept draining my battery . I'm on my second Interstate battery (it was recharged and voltage and alternator had good reading according to AutoZone). I had replaced the alternator with a rebuilt factory one 2 years ago. There are no service lights but my OBD scanner shows the codes : ABS : 61-1 (permanent) battery voltage failure and 11-10 Open or increased resistance in the left front airbag first inflator. The 2 other things that I had done was the airbag recall fix at the Honda dealership ship last year and an aftermarket sensor put in 2 years ago by a car alarm shop. I suspect it could be the latter that is draining the battery. Do the codes indicate something else as root cause or are all these separate issues?
Disconnect the aftermarket sensor and see if you still have the drain.
