Hi Scotty,

First of all thank you! I'm following your channel for a long time, I could probably say that you help me to choose Toyota as my first ride(I'm on my 4rh one now), not to mention how many fixed problems with your tutorials.

Now aboit the real problem. Me and my wife have three kids(all in car seats) and a big dog(55kg Bernese Mountain Dog) and we have Toyota Avensis Verso D4D, and we love it. It's a 7 seated, with real 3 seat in second row. Dog is usualy using a space in between 2st and 2nd row or in a trunk.

Now, we are moving to USA. And need a proper vehicle. Would like to stay with Toyota and a Van like ride. But have a big issue with a Siennas 2nd row, can't get ovet thst small, squished seat in the the center. My wife like kods to be in a hamd reach, you know, as a peace keeper(3 boys). Odyssey, on the other hand has litle bit better solution for that specific seat.

So on a Van side, beside of Sienna I'm also considering Honda Odyssey. But I'm also interested in some SUV, like Honda Pilot or Toyota Highlander. Would loke to stay with Japanese. I like that god damn Highlander so much, but not sure we gona fit in it.

We have limited budget abouth 15k USD, so for that price range, i'm thinking something in between 2010 and 2018 year, hopefully with mileage around 100k mi.

So  three seat in 2nd row is a must, and a decent size truck for a "puppy". Reliability is on a first place, followed with practicality.

Would appreciate if you could help me out with maybe good years of each model, or once to skip, also if you could pick one, which one it would be.

Thank you in advance,

Your fan from Serbia

  1. Well no van beats. The sienna van. Honda odysseys don't hold up over time. They have histories of problems. But of course the islanders run forever. Just a matter what you guys can fit into
