Hey scotty im your fan from Indonesia, hope you had a nice day!. i have a 1986 Honda Accord Sedan with 5 speed manual and 2 million kilometers. when my A/C off my alternator charge at 14.3V but when my A/C turned on it go down to around 10.7-11.5v(i just had an alternator rebuild couple months ago & get a new Ac compressor)what should i do?, im 17 and this car is my daily car right now :). pls help me 🙂
I would assume the guy did a crappy job rebuilding the alternator or you got a bad compressor that's draining too much electricity.you can't really test the air conditioning compressor but you can have the alternator load tested
what should i do? can i just ignore it? does it will make the battery goes bad if i use AC everyday?
Selamat dateng Mas!
As Scotty said, get the electrical system load tested at your local Bengkel. Did you get the alternator rebuilt by a reputed shop or? Also, did you use a good quality AC compressor?
idk, the guy at the shop said "it from another car just like yours" so i guess it standart compressor
That makes me think it’s a bad AC compressor if it was picked from another car & put into yours.

Good luck & get back here if you need any more help. Sampe jumpa Mas!
Unplug a/c connector, insure it's clean inside (on wires and ac)). Check ac clutch coil resistance with meter for correct resistance. And have battery load tested.
For you wise (old) mechs, remember the day we had an ammeter in the car to tell how much charge we were getting from the alt to bat?!
