Hello there, love the site!
I bought a 2015 nissan altima s
87k miles 6 months ago, just
saying that those CVTs lagged
so much it was horrible. I
wrecked it when taking a turn
on some slick roads. I just
bought a 2015 toyota Corolla
le with 57k miles and im
wondering how much better are
Toyotas CVTs vs Nissan's.
Obviously smoother but will
it last me awhile?

Never heard anyone complain about Toyota CVT's.

Toyota has been making CVTs for around 20 years for their Priuses. They are very good. Scotty’s son has one and he gets better gas mileage than the ratings. I’ve heard Scotty talk high about them. The first model of the new hatchback 2019 Corolla had some recalls, other than that, they are very reliable.

Keep changing the CVT fluid every 40K miles (drain and fill) and you are all set for long life on them.
