New Cars do not offer Manual Transmissions

Scotty;

I am considering a new car to replace my 20yo Buick.  I went to the Honda dealer looking for a new Accord.  I have watched your YT channel and I am avoiding the 1.5L turbo.  My concern, is that as manual transmissions are going extinct, what is a decent automatic transmission?

Well actually Toyota and Honda do make probably the best automatic transmissions out there so that's not a bad bet

Car makers aren't making many manual transmission vehicles anymore due to much lower demand, and automatic transmissions give you better MPG nowadays. Your shifting can't be close to microscopic accuracy of computerized auto trans even if you're a pro racer.

Like Scotty said, Toyota and Honda are the best. But I'd stick with Toyota, because comparing the two, Honda tend to have more problems and recalls. If you like to feel the engine power, get a Honda, they make very strong engines. I've driven both new Camry and Accord. I don't think the Camry TRD can beat a regular sport model Accord in a drag race.
