Hello Scotty so I just replaced the front struts on my wife's 2007 Ford freestyle and now when I turn the wheel the struts chatter it looks like the struts are binding on something I replaced the strut and strut mount but reused the spring I made sure spring placement was correct as well and made sure that the arrow was pointed in the same direction as the one that came out of the car I am at a loss here do you have any ideas as to why its doing this?

I will take one tomorrow when there is proper light.
now you might have got a crappy strut mount or didn't put it on correctly I've seen the cheaper strut mounts especially from discount auto parts stores made in China often make noise
Hey scotty they are MevoTech Strut mounts I was pretty sure I put them on correctly the arrow on the strut mounts I pulled out pointed to the out side of the fender that's how I reinstalled it and I made sure to put the rubber on the spring exactly cradling the spring. The weird thing now is that in the early morning not a lot of noise but when the day heats up it is much louder I am baffled.
