Hey Scotty I love your videos considering to get a Nissan versa 2020+ 1.6 S Manuel as my first car any thoughts. I heard the horror stories that they blow head gaskets like on the Altima. Does the 5 speed Manuel sound a lot better than their garbage CVTs

As long as you are not keeping it for more than 6 7 years then it should be fine especially with a manual they aren't absolute piles of junk like FCA is it should be fine for a good 70-100k miles.

Being a Nissan, I still would not, get a Honda or Toyota.  Even being a manual they will still be endless money pits.

How long will this be?

BTW get the WRX over the BRZ

Probably 3 years rememeber I have not decided

Yeah true. I would say as long as it is under 100,000 miles it will be fine. After that it will start to fall apart.

I was all excited to check out a friends brand new Nissan Rogue.  I thought that maybe Nissan was turning a new leaf (no pun intended).  I asked to open the hood.  Took a pick.  Everything looked nice and new.

Then I went to close the hood. And the latch, wouldn't latch.  It just hung open.  We tried for like 10 minutes.  Had to play with the latch to actually get it to latch.

If the hood can't latch on a brand spanking new car, it makes me question what else is wrong with the car.
