2017 Mercedes-Benz AMG43 GLC: New spark plugs at 30k miles?

I have a 2017 AMG43 GLC.  It’s time for me to do the 30k mile service and the dealer says it needs spark plugs every 5 years or 50k miles.  They are quoting about 700 dollars just for the spark plugs plus the regular A service.  Do you really think it’s necessary to replace them with so little miles?

The car runs perfectly fine.

Check the maintenance recommendations provided directly by the manufacturer rather than those from a service writeup droid payed on commission.

. They use double platinum or iridium. They can go a lot longer then that.  Pull a plug and look at them. If they are still good and you don't have any issues then then no point in changing them.

Usually I tell people to always follow the manufacturer recommendations. In this case I've never seen or ever heard of plugs going bad in Mercedes till 50 to 75k. Plus people I know who are Mercedes mechanics say the same thing. You have 2 options follow maintenance guide or pull a plug and go from there.
