Long story short my dad is looking for a new SUV and he's between a Toyota Sequoia and a Chevy Tahoe. He keeps saying that the Tahoe is rated better than the Sequoia in many categories, but I know that Sequoias are good vehicles. Thoughts?
Toyota all the way. They’re just manufactured better as their sole focus is on quality and maintaining their impeccable reputation
The Sequoia. Toyota vs Chevy isn’t even a competition if you’re after long term fuss free ownership.
That new GM will fall apart after a few years & can become electrical nightmares as they start to age.
Rated better in many categories except maybe reliability.
In initial quality, maybe the Chevy is better. But in terms of quality and reliability on the long haul, Toyota is hard to beat.
Take a look at Sequoia and Tahoe resell values for about 8-10 years old. Sequoia's are a little more expensive than Tahoe's overall.
(hey do you think Kerem likes Toyota?)
Toyota
You are always right on that one! I do not know how you are not a moderator yet. It will happen soon, I just know it!
@thefloridian
thanks! Hey maybe mr.kilmer will be around later on we never know
If you can afford it, get the Sequoia.
But I'm curious which categories your friend was talking about.
